How Lens works

Three steps

Nothing to learn. Open Lens, and you already know how to use it.

1

Type what you're looking for

One search bar for every platform you use.

2

Pick a platform

Tap any tile in the grid. Pin the ones you use most so they stay up top.

3

We take you there

Lens opens your search on the site itself — same tab or new, your call.

Features

Built for the way you actually browse

90+ platforms, one grid

Google, Wikipedia, Stack Overflow, Reddit, Amazon, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more — all in one view.

Pin your favorites

Keep the platforms you use most at the top, so they're one tap away every time you open Lens.

Recent searches, just in case

Your last few searches stay one click away. Stored on your device — never on a server.

Light or dark, you choose

Follows your system, or flip it manually. Your preference stays saved.

Install it like an app

Lens is a Progressive Web App — add it to your home screen on any device and it opens full-screen.

No sign-up, no search tracking

There's no account, no analytics on your searches, no selling you out. Lens just forwards you to the site.

On every device

Looks right everywhere

Open Lens in your browser, or pin it to your home screen. Same experience, laid out for the device you're on.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Is Lens a search engine?
No — Lens is a launcher. You type your query once, then pick where to run it. Lens takes you to that site's own search results, so the answers come from Google, Wikipedia, Amazon, YouTube, or wherever you chose.
Does Lens cost anything?
No. Lens is free — no subscription, no sign-up.
What do you do with my searches?
Nothing. Queries never reach our servers. Your last few searches and your favorites are stored only in your browser — clear them any time.
Which platforms does Lens cover?
90+ and counting — across search engines, knowledge, news, shopping, maps, weather, sports, social, video, images, finance, tech and more. Google, Wikipedia, Stack Overflow, Reddit, Amazon, YouTube, ESPN, Twitter, LinkedIn, TripAdvisor, Twitch, Unsplash, Bloomberg, GitHub, PyPI… the full list is in the app.
Can I install Lens like a real app?
Yes. Lens is a Progressive Web App, so you can add it to your home screen on iOS, Android, Mac, Windows or Linux and it opens full-screen, just like a native app. Native iOS and Android apps are on the way.
Can you add a platform I use?
Drop us a note at lens@greensparkstudio.com. If the site has a searchable URL pattern, we can almost always add it.

Open it once, and it sticks.

Web app is live now!. Add it to your home screen today — native iOS and Android apps are coming.
